Both interred Kennethmont CY (New), son Alexander recorded on headstone.

Alexander Esson Mackie was born on 15 June 1915 at the family croft of Brae of Cults, Kennethmont. He had four brothers and a sister.
On leaving school he began work in banking at Insch
and was later transferred to Jamaica. He was known to family and friends as Sandy.
