Coffins at RAF Harwell

Four Union Flag draped coffins on a trailer at RAF Harwell

Pilot Officer Alexander E Mackie, F/Sgt Carl A Bergsten, Sgt Lawrance C Rowe and Sgt Kenneth S Turner were given joint Full Military Funerals. They were buried together in the Cemetery in the nearby village of Harwell from which the air station, RAF Harwell, takes it's name. Sgt Harry H Taylor is buried at Newcastle-upon-Tyne and following his death on 19th November Sgt Douglas G Anderson was buried at Walberton, Sussex.
