The name of George Anderson is recorded on the tablets of The Loos Memorial to the Missing.
The memorial forms the side and back of Dud Corner Cemetery. It bears the
names of over 20,000 men who fell in the surrounding area following The
Battle of Loos on 25th September 1915 and who have no known grave.

Amonst them is Captain Fergus Bowes-Lyon, brother of the Late Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother.
He served with the 8th Battalion Black Watch and was lost in action on 27th September.
